TEDxWomen is a conference dedicated to (and not only to) inspiring women of today's society, their achievements and failures. Join us in this gathering, which combines live talks and online streaming from the TEDWomen 2016 conference, taking place at the same time in the USA. The topic of this year's TEDWomen is "It is About Time".
Historically the first TEDxBrnoWomen
was held in December 2013, and besides others hosted Iva Tereza Grosskopfová, film documentarist, psychotherapetuist and graphologist, then also Zuzana Candigliota, lawyer and legislative director of the League of human rights, or Juan Braun, journalist, author, traveller, professor at Harvard as well as Charles University, charity worker, president of the Prague club Journalists without borders, political and economical commentator, and an expert in Latin America.
This year again, you can look forward to
interesting personalities with life stories and experiences, which can inspire you to new ideas and life directions.

Artistic performance
Artistic performance is a traditional part of all TED conferences. At our even, you can look forward to Martin Bukáček, who will inspire you by his play with sound.
Moderator
Your guide of the whole day will be the moderator and actress Kateřina Fafílková.
Afterparty
After the conference, you are all welcome at our afterparty, where you can discuss the afterthoughts from the conference with us and other attendees. We are looking forward to seeing you all in Café Bar MORGAL.

The building of the Museum of Applied Arts is used not only for standard exhibitions, but thanks to its lecture hall, it can also host events such as TEDxBrnoWomen with the capacity of 100 attendees. It will for sure become an inspiring place for our gathering full of inspiration.
