Lucie Sovová is interested in food (good, sustainable, fair) and workarounds around the dominant economical system. Her internship in Dutch RUAF Foundation, focusing on urban agriculture and food safety, brought her back to czech gardening tradition. Since then, she studies, what West and East can learn from each other in sustainable food production. On the Department of Environmental Studies of Masaryk Univeristy she works on her disertation about Czech gardeners, and participates in the research of economical alternatives. She enjoys gardening and is an author of the Seventh Generation magazine. She lives and works in Brno and Wageningen.
