Marie Kinsky came to the Czech republic in 1997, after her career as a dancer in France and abroad. Soon after her arrival, she started and till today leads a company that became the first Center of choreographical evolution in the Czech republic. The aim of the center is to support the advancement of the dance scene in international context. In 2009 she started and since then directs KoresponDance international festival of movement arts, which since 2013 resides in Žďár nad Sázavou.

Together with her husband she works on the transformation of Žďár's castle into a cultural center, whose goal is to connect the inhabitants of Žďár nad Sázavou city with the people from the whole Czech republic and beyond. Current activities at the castle are centered around three themes:
• Museum of new generation - started in 2015, together with progressive lector team. 
• Creative hub with residential program targeting artistic research and process, seminars, discussions, round tables, etc.
• Cultural activities benefiting from the local genius loci of the former cloister, including festivals, concerts, projects for children, but also activities for families and companies.
